Part-Time Jobs in Dubai for International Students: Rules, Sectors and Pay
September 17, 2026
International students can take part-time jobs in Dubai for students, but a student visa alone does not let you work. You also need a separate work permit, usually arranged with your university’s help.
Most students can work up to 15 hours a week while classes are on, and up to 40 hours a week during holidays, once they have the right permit.
Pay for student jobs in Dubai usually falls between AED 20 and AED 60 an hour. Pick a job that fits around your class schedule and helps your career, not just the one that pays the most.
