About the University
A technological university – the University of Strathclyde was founded in 1796 as Andersonian Institute and acquired its royal charter as the University of Strathclyde in 1964. Campus Life

The university has two intakes January and September, but the application for the same needs to be made at least a year in advance. However, it is to be noted that some of the courses are available only in the September intake, as they run only a few courses in January.
For post-graduate courses, students can directly apply on the website and for UG courses they can make an application through UCAS.

The Universities and Colleges Admissions Services (UCAS) is an interdependent charity organisation that solely exists for non-profitable purposes and is the UK’s shared admissions services for higher education.
