PTE Academic Dates

PTE Academic is an exam that can help you achieve your academic, professional, and immigration goals. The exam is conducted throughout the year in all major cities such as Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cochin, Coimbatore, New Delhi, Hyderabad, Jalandhar, Kolkata, Ludhiana, Mumbai, Nagpur, Noida, Patiala, Pune, Rajkot, Vadodara, and Vijayawada. However, when you select an appointment, you may find that some days are already booked and unavailable. So, it is advised to book the exam at least one month in advance and remember that you have the means to select the exam date as per your convenience even 2 days before the exam, but not if you have just 24 hours or less than 24 hours in hand.

While opting for the desired PTE exam date, mindfully check the time format and time zone, keeping in reason that some of the centres support delivery 24 hours. So, if it’s 1:00 or 13:00, the distinction of early morning and afternoon should be clear.

PTE Academic Online Dates 2024

The PTE academic online test is an alternative that can be used when testing either the test centres are closed, or your region does not have a test centre and if there is a mobility issue or any other special requirement. Afterwards, check their identification policies, get your consent form filled out by the parent or guardian if you are under 18, and make certain that you are not creating multiple accounts. This at-home test only requires a quiet and private space, an internet connection, a laptop and a wired headset. 

PTE Test Accommodations/ Special Arrangements

PTE’s policy of inclusion and equality is dedicated to making certain that all their centres in India and abroad follow the local disability laws. In accordance with these laws, there are specific arrangements for candidates with special needs. On the basis of valid medical evidence, test takers can benefit from the following test accommodations: 

  • Separate testing room 
  • Access to wheelchair
  • Lamp & magnifying glass as Additional equipment 
  • A 10-minute break in-between 
  • 25% extra testing time
  • Adjustable workstation and chair

Further, in order to request such facilities, the test taker is expected to submit a letter or certificate from a licensed medical practitioner and any other latest document that confirms their medical condition. Alongside that, the special request should be updated while creating the myPTE account. As that will lead to a form, where all the valid medical evidence would be attached. This form needs to be submitted at least six weeks before the chosen test date, which will allow time for the necessary preparation.
